1. Overview
MedProviders, Inc. (“MedProviders,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a verified hiring network for healthcare providers and employers. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
By using our website, applications, or services (the “Platform”), you acknowledge this policy. It applies alongside our Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details such as name, email address, phone number, role, and organization.
- Provider profile data including specialty, licensure, certifications, work history, and documents.
- Employer information including company name, hiring needs, billing contacts, and team members.
- Demo request submissions, support messages, and other communications with us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP.
- Log data related to authentication, security events, and Platform performance.
- Cookie and similar technology data as described in Section 9.
Information from third parties
- Primary-source credential verification results from licensing boards, certifying bodies, and related databases.
- Identity or background screening results where you authorize such checks.
- Single sign-on profile data if you authenticate through a supported identity provider.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Create and manage accounts for providers and employers.
- Verify credentials, display readiness status, and support hiring workflows.
- Match providers with job opportunities and route applications to employers.
- Process demo requests, subscriptions, payments, and customer support.
- Send transactional emails such as verification links, application updates, and security alerts.
- Improve Platform reliability, detect fraud, and enforce our Terms.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
With your consent or as permitted by law, we may also send product updates or marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message or through your account notification settings.
4. Healthcare & credential data
MedProviders is designed for healthcare hiring and may process professional and sensitive information related to licensure, employment, and compliance. We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards aligned with healthcare industry expectations, including HIPAA-aware handling where applicable.
When MedProviders acts as a business associate to a covered entity, we enter into a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) governing protected health information. Employers are responsible for their own compliance obligations when using candidate data obtained through the Platform.
Providers choose which credential details to share with specific employers. We do not sell professional credential data to unrelated third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Platform, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
When you close an account, we delete or de-identify information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for backup integrity, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, role-based permissions, audit logging, and regular security reviews to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices & rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you.
- Export profile or credential data you have submitted.
- Restrict or object to certain processing activities.
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
Providers can manage visibility and sharing preferences in account settings. To exercise privacy rights, email privacy@medproviders.com. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
10. Children
The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
